Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
Learn how to create practical, easy-to-read, and understandable business process models and how to implement the BPMN 2.0 standard notation in your organization. Get tips from experienced professionals and learn how to apply common conventions such as “Method & Style” and eCH-0158.
With the Business Motivation Model (BMM), you’ll also receive a brief introduction to strategy management so you can derive a suitable process and rule map from your company’s goals.
In addition, you will learn how to use Decision Model and Notation (DMN) to document your decisions transparently and Case Management Model and Notation (CMMN) to clearly map out complex case handling processes.

Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
- You are familiar with the BPMN 2.0 elements of the “Descriptive Conformance” and “Analytical Conformance” subclasses.
- You are able to represent business processes accurately, meaningfully, and clearly in accordance with the specific context.
- You can assess which modeling conventions are necessary for the successful implementation of BPMN 2.0 in your organization for use by subject matter experts.
- You can assess the level of modeling depth and precision required for your analysis objectives.
Decision Model and Notation (DMN)
- You are familiar with the elements of DMN and understand their meaning.
- You are able to model simple DMN DRDs and decision tables
Case Management Model and Notation (CMMN)
