Business processes and rules

Successful with DMN 1.3 and OCEB2 Business Intermediate

The author's goal in this book series is to provide you with a holistic approach to business process management. It is often not recognized for how many areas of a company design, implementation and control of business processes are of central importance. In the view of Serge Schiltz, business processes are the common denominator on which the different disciplines of management and information technology meet. This is where common interests crystallize and the potential for synergy is enormous.

In the title of this second book in the series, DMN appears, a relatively new method of modeling decisions precisely and comprehensibly. Now that BPMN has established itself as a standard for the description of workflows, this is the next central topic of sustainable business management: standardization and transparency in another central area.

Once again, the author follows the curriculum of OCEB-Zertifizierungen, which in his opinion focuses on really relevant topics and takes into account the currently established notations (BPMN and DMN).
